Definition

There are three types of IDocs in BW:

  • Request IDocs (RSREQUST)
  • Info IDocs (RSINFO)
  • Data IDocs (RSSEND). The type RSSEND only serves as a template. The actual basic IDoc type is generated from RSSEND when creating a source system, and is extended by IDoc segments when generating the transfer structure.

No data IDocs are dispatched in the case of TRF with PSA. The transfer takes place directly using TRFC.
