Definition

Shows whether the stock ledger key figures are not updated by the account model or the key figure model

Use

The system posts each stock ledger key figure to an account key. When data is posted to the InfoProviders ORSL_C01 (retail stock ledger - non-cumulative) and ORSL_C02 (retail stock ledger - cumulative), the system therefore generates as many data records as account keys posted from each data record. For performance reasons, it is useful to prevent data records multiplying.

If you select the indicator for deactivating the account model, the system posts only the special stock ledger key figures to the initial value of the account key.

Alternatively, you can select the indicator for deactivating the key figure model to improve performance. In this case, none of the special stock ledger key figures receive a value. The account model of the stock ledger is then always active, that is, each general stock ledger key figure is posted to anaccount key.

Dependencies

If the account model is deactivated, you cannot use the Period Reports of the Retail stock ledger as they are delivered in the standard system. You must instead specify whether the stock ledger key figures are displayed only in rows or columns. All other queries that are delivered in the standard system can be used without making any changes.

If the key figure model is deactivated, you cannot use the reports of the stock ledger as they are delivered in the standard system. You must adapt them, for example, by replacing the special stock ledger key figures with restricted key figures that you define based on the general stock ledger key figures and the account key.
