Definition
An InfoObject catalog is a logical summary or grouping of InfoObjects with the aim of simplifying the search and selection of InfoObjects, for example with the definition of an InfoCube. Each InfoObject catalog has a type (e.g. CHA or KYF) and can only include InfoObjects of this type.
InfoObjects can be included in several catalogs. In addition, there are default InfoObject catalogs with the name "not assigned", that contain all InfoObjects, that have not yet been assigned to a certain catalog by the user.
