Definition

Use

You use this parameter to specify for the function type nonlinear regression whether and to what extent the algorithm should smooth the scoring function. A high smoothing factor prevents the function from being overfitted to the training data. Very high smoothing factors tend towards linear regression.

Only whole numbers are permitted values. Default value: 20.

Dependencies

This parameter is only considered if you have selected the function type nonlinear regression.
