Definition
Use this node to perform prediction using a data mining model for decision tree classification
Activities
In this activity, you must:
- Specify the decision tree model in the General tab, that is, the decision tree model on which you want to perform prediction. For this, you either use an existing model or create a new model in the Data Mining Workbench.
- Define the mapping between the model fields and data input fields in the Prediction Input tab. For this, key content type and predictable model fields are omitted
- Select the prediction output fields. Decision tree offers Predicted Value, Predicted by Node and Predicted Probability as the prediction output. Both predicted value and probability can be specified up to 3 ranks. You have seven output fields, that is, Predicted Node, Best Predicted Value, Best Predicted Probability, Second Best Predicted Value, Second Best Predicted Probability, Third Best Predicted Value and Third Best Predicted Probability. For each selected output field, a new field will be added to the input data. You can also rename the generated data field names and descriptions.
Runtime Behavior
This node supports display of calculation summary results. During the prediction run, information (such as which tree node predicted how many records ) is stored and can be viewed. In the evaluation run, the error matrix information is stored.
