Definition

Indicates the transformation type to be applied on the model field.

Use

You can use the following Transformation Types:

  • None: You use this option when no transformation is required and the values are used as they are. You can specify the ranges that will be treated as Missing or Ignore.
  • Discretize: You use this option to group the values into specific bins. You must specify the binning ranges. This field would be treated similar to Discrete content type.
  • Discretize and treat as ordered: You use this option to specify the binning ranges and assign weights to them. This field would be treated similar to Ordered content type.
  • Multiply by weights: You use this option to specify ranges and assign weights to them, if a particular range of values needs to be weighted differently with respect to other values.
