Definition

Quantity conversion is defined for this characteristic dependent on the characteristic values and units. Therefore conversions can be performed, not only from grams to kilograms (or similar), but also from pieces to containers. A special DataStore object is used for saving conversion factors. In the DataStore object, this field indicates the characteristic for which the DataStore object saves conversion factors.

Use

If this field in a DataStore object is filled, the DataStore object characteristic for saving conversion factors is generated for the characteristic. In this case, the active table of the DataStore object also contains tables for the SIDs of the affected characteristics.
