Definition
For each InfoCube characteristic, you calculate separately by which factor the number of aggregate records decreases in comparison to the InfoCube, and work out the mean value from here.
Make sure that this number is determined when filling the aggregate. To speed up the process of reading data from the InfoCube an aggregate is also used, if possible, in the process. The calculated number can therefore turn out to be smaller than expected from a comparison with the InfoCube.
If you activate and fill an aggregate, for example, which is identical to an aggregate that already exists, the value 1 is displayed as a mean reduction. In comparison to the aggregate being used (and not the InfoCube) there is naturally no reduction available.
