DEC (packed number with 0 decimal places) and DATS (8 figure date) are permitted as technical data types.
If you wish to calculate with the key figure (for example, you wish to determine the mean processing time or retention period), you should choose DEC as a data type. The date is then internally represented as the number of days from 1.1.0001.
