Documentation
Definition
This date defines the start of a time period from which the system will consider a calculation rule.
Use
Dependencies
You need to check which unit has been configured in the system for the period of investigation. The setting is stored in table RSBCTSDPR_GLBPRM in entry with key PARAMETER_NAME = PERIOD_OF_INVEST. The VALUE attribute is set to either WEEK or MONTH.
Dependent on this setting, choose the start date to be the first day of a configured period of investigation. This means that if the period is set to MONTH, the start date should always be the first day of a month. If you choose any other day, the start of validity is deferred to the next month.
The same is true for a value of WEEK as a period of investigation. In this case, you should always take the first day of a week.
