Definition
Using this radio button, you can specify whether objects in Data Warehousing Workbench trees are sorted alphabetically by their descriptions or by the technical names. If the trees are sorted by description, uppercase letters are sorted before lowercase letters.
Use
Dependencies
The following checkboxes are selected by default for the sort behavior:
In this case, use the radio button to specify the sort behavior of the objects underneath the folder nodes (for example, under the InfoAreas) and within an object type (for example, InfoCube).
If you deselect the option keep sort structure of folders, the folders are sorted by description or technical name.
If you deselect the option sort by object type, the objects are sorted by description or technical name and the object type is ignored.
Note
The settings for sort behavior are saved for each user per tree. This means that the setings are kept when the tree is rebuilt.
