10) Open Hub Destinations

If you call the data flow display for a BW object, a dialog box appears in which you can specify the data flow direction that you want to display. You can choose from the following options:

  • Upwards: Displays the object and all successor objects and rules in the data flow
  • Downwards: Displays the object and all predecessor objects and rules in the data flow
  • Upwards and Downwards: Display the entire data flow for the object

All active and inactive objects in the data flow are always displayed. The object symbol indicates the status. If the symbol is grayed out, the object is inactive; otherwise the object is active.

The objects themselves represent nodes in the graphic. The rules that describe the dependencies between objects are displayed using arrows. If you select an arrow with the mouse, the quick info indicates which rule connects the two objects.

The starting objects selected in the dialog box are displayed in yellow in the data flow display. Deleted objects that are still being used as the target or source of a transformation are displayed in red. Runtime objects are displayed in gray.

The following functions are available:

By double clicking on a node or arrow you branch to the display of an object or the rules.
