Documentation
Use
You can use the data target CRM to write attribute values for the business partner to SAP CRM. In this way, you can, for example, fill the ABC class for the business partner in SAP CRM in the Interaction Center (IC).
Which attributes are available depends on which data targets and attributes are defined in SAP CRM and which Release status your SAP CRM has.
In SAP CRM 3.1, the following types of data target, for example, can be filled:
- IC attributes for the business partner
- Marketing characteristics for business partner segmentation
- Enhancements specific to business partners
If no data targets or attributes are offered in the Data Target tab page for your SAP CRM, create data targets in Customizing in SAP CRM under Settings in the SAP Business Information Warehouse -> Data Transfer from SAP BW.
Activities
- In the Data Target tab page, select the logical system into which the data is to be written.
The data targets defined in the specified system are determined.
- Select a concrete data target, as well as a subordinate object (depending on the type of data target).
- In the Attributes tab page, select the attributes that are to be filled.
