Documentation
Use
Basic Statistics shows for every selected field, which has the content type continuous, a frequency table of the field values, which are collected in intervals. Here you can specify the number of intervals, which shall be used.
Activities
Set an integer greater than or equal to 3.
Example
The field revenue contains values between 0 and 1000. If you choose 12 as number of intervals, then the Basic Statistics determines automatically 12 intervals, depending on the distribution of the values. E. g., the 12 intervals are (-infinite,0], (0,100], (100,200], ... ,(900,1000], (1000,infinite). Assume, that there are no records with values less than or equal to 0, the number of records with values in (0,100] is 50, in (100,200] is 70, .... and the number of records with values greater than 1000 is 0. Then in a table and in a chart these intervals (-infinite,0], (0,100], (100,200], ... ,(1000, infinite) will be displayed together with the number of records 0, 50, 70, ... , 0.
