Explanation of the InfoSource Tree
Under the top node you will find the following application components:
@6F@ Application components
The InfoSources for which data can be loaded from the relevant source
systems are arranged under an application component:
@6E@ InfoSource for transaction data
@81@ Active InfoSource for which master data, texts and
hierarchies can be requested
@82@ Inactive InfoSource for which master data, texts and
hierarchies can be requested as soon as it has been activated
Source systems that can deliver data to this InfoSource are arranged
under an InfoSource :
@M1@ Own BW system
@6K@ SAP source system
@GH@ BW Data Mart system
@6M@ External system (PC file from work station or file from application
server)
@RO@ External system with data and metadata transfer with BAPIs
