Definition

The source for the characteristic calculation is interpreted dependently from the calculation method.

  • If you have selected 'Source Characteristic' as a caluculation method, the source will be interpreted as an InfoObject of the InfoSource.
  • If you have selected 'Constant' as a calculation method, the source will be interpreted directly as a constant.
  • If you have selected 'Master data attribute' as a calculation method, the source will be interpreted as an InfoObject of the InfoSource in whose master data table the characteristic to be filled is found as an attribute.
  • If you have selected 'Routine' as a calculation method, the source will be interpreted as a routine name.
  • If you have selected 'No update' as a calculation method, the source will not be filled.
