Definition
The slack time represents a measure of the amount of time that buffers sequential tasks.
The slack time is a calculated value based upon the type of dependency, such as start to finish dependency, and the dates of the dependant objects or tasks. The current date may be considered and in no case is the slack time allowed to be negative in value.
