Definition
Number of repeated periods when printing detailed periods
Use
When reporting detailed periods, an amount for a specific date, month, quarter or year needs to be provided. Here you specify how many repetitions of detailed periods should be printed.
Example
On schedule B of the Federal Tax Form 941, the daily tax liability is reported within a quarter. Therefore you have three fields with 31 days each.
The tax form field that reports the tax liability of
- Month 1 must be repeated 31 times, since there could be 31 days in this month
- Month 2 must also be repeated 31 times, since it could also have 31 days
Compare the example of the first period definition.
In this case, you would define two tax form fields, T001 and T032. T001 has 031 as a number of repetition. T032 also carries 031.
As a result, you receive 31 'virtual' tax form fields, T002 to T031, which contain the value of the relevant days within the quarter, as well as fields T033 to T063. These fields do not need to be defined specifically.
