Documentation
Definition
If you have selected the period indicator for a week, month or year, the date to be calculated can be rounded to the first or last day of the period selected, or to the first day of the following period.
Use
You can use these rounding rules to determine the 'Redemption dates' for drawable bonds and to calculate the 'Publication date' (PD) from the redemption date and the shift.
Example
Calculating the publication date:
Shift = 1
Period indicator = M (month)
Redemption date = 02/10
=> Publication date (PD) = 02/10 + 1 month = 03/10; after using the rounding rules, you would have the following final publication dates:
- 'No rounding' => PD = 03/10
- 'Start of selected period' => PD = 03/01
- 'End of selected period' => PD = 03/31
- 'Start of following period' => PD = 04/01
