Definition
This date can either be the 'Date of the first redemption of a redemption schedule set' or the 'Date of the first redemption within a redemption schedule'.
Use
Date of the first redemption of a redemption schedule set:
When you create a redemption schedule set (RS set) for a class, you enter the header data of this RS set. The 'entries for the redemption schedules' are part of this header data. These include the 'Date of the first redemption', the 'Date of the last redemption' and and the (redemption) Frequency entered. The system then uses this data to determine the redemption dates and the total redemption amount for the drawable bond.
Date of the first redemption within a redemption schedule:
When you create a redemption schedule for a redemption schedule set, you enter an 'Effective from' date for the redemption schedule and select the date of the first redemption of this redemption schedule from the redemption dates for the drawable bond. The system now enters all the redemption dates and publication dates for this redemption schedule in the redemption table. This means that you now just have to enter the values of the redemptions.
