Documentation
Definition
Data fields from HR Master Data, Personnel Planning, and Time Management are grouped together according to logical criteria to form information types (or infotypes for short).
These infotypes are grouped as follows:
- Infotypes 0000 to 0999 for HR Master Data
- Infotypes 1000 to 1999 for Personnel Planning Data
- Infotypes 2000 to 2999 for Time Management Data
- Infotypes 4000 to 4999 for Applicant Master Data
- Infotypes 9000 to 9999 for customer infotypes
Supplementary Documentation - QINFTY 0001
Use
If you selected logical database PNP, you have access to infotypes 0000-0999 and 2000-2999, and possibly to customer infotypes.
If you selected logical database PAP, you have access to infotypes 4000-4999.
If you selected logical database PCH, you generally have access to all infotypes. However, if you also selected an object type in a field, you only have access to the infotypes that are assigned to this object type. You can edit the assignment of infotypes to object types in Customizing for Organizational Management by choosing Maintain Infotypes -> Infotypes per Object Type.
You can include up to 99 infotypes in a functional area.
