Definition
Indicator used to identify whether the profit share payment corresponds an advance or adjustment payment.
Examples
An advance is a portion of the profit share paid by the company to the employee during the financial year. For example, if the company offers 33% profit shares, paid in the middle and end of the year:
In June, the employee receives 33% of their total remuneration up until that date, or 16,5% of their estimated total remuneration for the tax year.
In December, the employee receives the amount corresponding to the remainder of the profit share.
If you perform the profit share calculation on estimated remuneration, the company makes a profit share adjustment at the start of the following tax year and, if necessary, pays the employee the corresponding adjusted amount.
