Definition
In this field you select the relevant "Catch-up Code" for the employee as defined in Sections 415(c)(4)(A through C) of the Internal Revenue Code.
The possible values are blank, A, B, or C:
1. Blank means no catch-up election is selected.
2. catch-up election A : changes the 415 limit to include the MEA applicable but taking into account only the employee's last 10 years of service.
3. catch-up election B : changes the 415 limit to be the least of:
a. 25% of participant's includible compensation
b. the MEA itself
c. $15,000.00
4. catch-up election C : ignore the MEA completely, use only 402(g), 415C limits.
