Definition

Specifies whether an employee is still available for work activities if an attendance or absence of this type/subtype has been entered for him or her.

Use

The information on an employee's availability is evaluated in the BAPI BAPI_TIMEAVAILSCHEDULE_BUILD. The BAPI is used in the integration of Time Management with the Training and Event Management, Shift Planning, and Logistics Capacity Planning components, for example.

In the standard system, the Not available indicator is set for each attendance/absence type. If the Irrelevant indicator is set, the attendance or absence is not evaluated by the BAPI.
