Definition

In this absence quota, you can record capping differences caused by a reduction due to the employee having a part-time status or inactive time within the accrual period.

Example

You have specified a reduction rule for the prorated calculation of the quota credit based on the employee's employment percentage. For an employee with an employment percentage of 70% and a normal accrual entitlement of ten days, this would mean a reduction to only 7 days. You can record the 3 reduced days by entering a quota type in in an alternative quota, where you can store the unpaid leave entitlement, for example.
