Definition

Specifies the severity and meaning of a message.

Use

There are four different message categories:

  • Note (white "i" on blue circle):
    Notes are messages for information only, and can be deleted from the message list after being read.
  • Info (black exclamation point on yellow circle)
    Info messages must be heeded and confirmed before they disappear from display.
  • Errors Not Terminating Time Evaluation (white exclamation point on red triangle):
    These errors must be corrected to ensure that time evaluation produces results for valuation. Time evaluation valuates starting from the day on which the message was created onwards during the next run.
  • Errors Terminating Time Evaluation ("Stop" sign)
    These errors must be corrected to ensure that time evaluation produces results for valuation. Time evaluation valuates the applicable day (and the next day, if necessary) during the next run.
