Documentation
Definition
Specifies that, due to country-specific requirements for statements, special processing is required to transfer remaining leave entitlements.
This field is relevant only for the following country versions:
Country version Country grouping
Germany 01
Switzerland 02
Austria 03
Netherlands 05
Use
In the report's standard processing, the total entitlement listed in the Leave Entitlement infotype (0005) is not transferred to the Absence Quotas infotype (2006). However, the above-mentioned countries require statements of the total entitlement. You should therefore select this field if your company belongs to one of the countries listed.
If you select the field, the processing as described in the report documentation is overridden for the absence quotas that are not processed in time evaluation. For these absence quotas, a link is created between the old infotype 0005 record and the new infotype 2006 record, using the transparent table PTMLEACONV. This enables the system to read the total leave entitlement of the relevant year from the old record of the Leave Entitlement infotype (0005).
Carry out the following steps in the sequence indicated:
- The system carries out a direct update of infotype 2006 for the infotype 0005 records whose remaining entitlement is transferred to quotas that are not processed in time evaluation.
At the same time, the system uses the PTMLEACONV table to create a relationship between the infotype 0005 record and the new infotype 2006 record.
The remaining entitlement in infotype 0005 is set to zero. - Run the batch input session directly afterwards. This is the only way of preventing data inconsistencies. The batch input session transfers the remaining entitlement of all infotype 0005 records processed without errors to the Leave Compensation infotype (0083).
- If the report outputs a list of errors, correct them first and then rerun the report.
Caution
If you do not adhere to the sequence above, and run the report again before you run the batch input session, the remaining entitlements will be transferred again to the Absence Quotas infotype (2006), and the data will therefore be inconsistent.
