Default Values for Selection Periods

Definition

Defines the standard default values for selection periods in HR master data.

Use

You can, for example, use it in the following cases:

  • In the Time Management transaction Quota Overview (PT50) to set the selection period for the deduction, validity, and generation periods.
  • In the Time Management transaction Quota Overview (PT50) to configure the initial value for the selection period for the deduction, validity, and generation periods*.
  • In the user parameter HR_TIMGT_PT50 to set a personal default selection period for the deduction, validity, and generation periods.*

In the above cases, the following values are available:

  • FROM_TODAY (From Today)
  • CUR_PERIOD (Current Period)
  • CUR_YEAR (Calendar Year)
  • ALL (All)

*Usage is dependent on a switch. For more information, see Define Selection Intervals.
