Definition
Indicates that the employee claims the spouse allowance. This level of the spouse allowance is set by the government and is a tax allowance for the employee.
Dependencies
The employee can claim this allowance only if the spouse is not working. Hence, only one of the fields, Claim Spouse Allowance or Claim Only Half Child Allowance can be selected for an employee.
Example
In the tax year 1999-2000, an employee whose spouse is not working may claim a spouse allowance of 30,000 THB.
