Documentation
Definition
Indicates the last day of the FMLA request for which the employee can potentially request absences covered by the Family and Medical Leave Act.
Use
You can assign only absences that are entirely within the validity period of the FMLA request to that request.
Dependencies
The individual FMLA rules for which the employee is eligible may under certain circumstances have different deduction intervals. The valid-to date of an FMLA request may also go beyond the end of its deduction interval.
The system cannot process this situation, because in this case the entitlement cannot be deducted beyond the entire period. The system therefore automatically sets the valid-to date of an FMLA request to the end date of the next future deduction interval if the end date of the FMLA request's deduction interval comes before the valid-to date of the FMLA request.
