Definition

Indicates the first day of the FMLA request for which the employee can potentially request absences covered by the Family and Medical Leave Act.

Use

You can assign only absences that are entirely within the validity period of the FMLA request to that request.

Dependencies

The system uses the valid-from date to:

• Check the employee's seniority and number of hours worked
• Determine the employee's average weekly working time (Week Converter field)
