Definition

Use

In the context of the BDT application object "contract object", the term "category" is used as a synonym for "business partner role" (BP role).

Contract objects can be differentiated using contract object types. You can assign these contract object types to different categories.

In the component Public Sector Contract Accounting, the following categories are delivered by default:

Category    Meaning

PSOB    header data of a contract object

PAAC    header/contract account data of a contract object

PSDD    Header and contract account data and Due date Schedule of Campus Management

You can create additional categories using the BDT (Business Data Toolset).

For more information about business partner roles and the Business Data Toolset, see the SAP Library under Cross-Application Components -> SAP Business Partner -> Business Partner Role.

Dependencies

Example

  • The contract objects for category PSOB are objects not relevant for payment due to missing contract account data.
  • Contract objects of category PAAC are objects for which tax or charges can be levied or subsidies or refunds can be granted.
