Definition
Group ID is a field specific to the Golden Number Principle(GNP). While maintaining entries in the conversion table for GNP the user is provided the flexibility to group /bracket together all points on an existing scale(old point) that will be mapped to a new salary point.
The purpose of group id is to allow any two characters to identify any group, within a particular GNP Code.
Example
