Definition

The selection class is a combination of selection rules that are evaluated in the same way. Each selection class is assigned to a valuation model.

Use

You use the selection class to group together selection rules. You can group together the selected infotype data, for example, different absence types, in a selection class.

To valuate the selection rules in the same way, you can define the weighting and threshold value and maximum value per selection class in a valuation model.

Example

You want to select periods of paid absence and define a corresponding selection class. This selection class should contain the illness days with continued pay and paid leave days selection rules. You define the selection rules and assign them to the above selection class.
