Definition
For the employment period calculation, personnel assignments of a concurrently employed person can be grouped according to business aspects. In general, the grouping reason maps an organizational assignment of the personnel assignment in the module of the employment calculation period. Consequently, each organizational assignment corresponds with a grouping value.
When calling a calculation process, for the above-mentioned grouping reason it is determined which grouping value for the personnel assignment applies to the selection date for which the employment period should be calculated.
The employment periods of a personnel assignment of the simultaneous concurrently employed people are considered only for the periods in which the same grouping value applies for the personnel assignment. These periods of a personnel assignment are named as sub-periods of an assignment.
