Definition
The selection exit is a programmed function module that makes the following selections from infotype fields:
- Selection of a period
- Selection of a weighter period
- Selection of a duration based on a key date
Use
You can use the selection exit to cover the different requirements of a selection rule. In addition to the contents of the infotypes, you can alse evaluate pre-defined attributes for infotype fields.
Example
You use a selection date to evaluate the groupings of absence types in table T554S (Attendance and Absence Types).
