Definition
This indicator represents country-specific or statutory requirements affecting the evaluation of a selection class.
Use
You define a special class for the selection class with the special requirement.
The standard system includes two special class specifications:
- R: Remaining periods (Public Sector Austria)
- E: No application of weighting, threshold value, maximum value for date-based durations
The special class is taken into account when the selection class is evaluated in the valuation model.
Remaining periods
Remaining periods are gaps in the employment period. These gaps exist after the periods have been evaluated in the valuation model.
If these gaps are grouped together in a selection class, you assign the special class Remaining periods to this selection class. This selection class must not contain selection rules.
No application of weighting, threshold value, maximum value for date-based durations
When the evaluation takes place in the valuation model, the weighting, threshold value, and maximum value functions are used for each selection class. If the selection class has this specification, these functions are only used for periods and not for date-based durations.
