Documentation
Definition
You can override the validity period by entering an imputable duration in years, months, and days.
This is only possible if it is permitted for the selected time specification type. The permissibility is defined in Customizing.
Dependencies
If you have entered an imputable duration in at least one of the three fields, it is taken into account instead of the duration of the validity period when the time specifications are evaluated in the employment period calculation.
Example
An employee studied in the period from January 01, 1995 to December 31, 1998. Four years are displayed in the Duration of validity period group. However, of these 4 years, only 3 years and 6 months should be imputed to the employment period. Enter 3 years and 6 months in the Imputable period group.

RIF Bonus Years
The last 3 employee appraisals within the last four years are considered for the appraisal bonus. For each appraisal rating, the number of bonus years to be awarded for that rating must be configured. The employee is then awarded the average of all eligible bonus years (rounded up, if not a whole number). If the employee has no eligible appraisals, the employee is awarded the number of years that is most often awarded in his competitive level in the latest year of appraisals.
