Use
Supplements the fact category information and thus makes it more meaningful.
If you need a qualifier for a fact category, you can facilitate data entry by setting a default value in the Customizing of Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable.
You can enter a default value at fact category or fact type level. The default value of the fact type level overwrites the fact category default value.
Dependencies
If you need more complex default values, you can set them using a function module that you assign to the relevant fact type. This is done while defining fact types in the Customizing of Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable.
Example
If you want fact values to always be entered in English or amounts for facts always in the local currency, you set a default value for the fact category description and one for the fact category amount.
