Definition

The system determines the date with the highest priority from the date specifications stored for the employee, and uses this as the start date for the interval.

The start date can be determined from the following employee data:

• From the first personnel action
• From a date type in the Date Specifications infotype (0041)
• From the Initial entry date in the Contract Elements infotype (0016)
• From the Entry into group date in the Contract Elements infotype (0016)

If you assign a priority to the field, the first personnel action is used to determine the start date according to this priority. If no priority is assigned, this action is not used. The number 1 has the highest priority.
