Definition
If the period indicator week, month or year was selected in the material master for the total shelf life, the shelf life expiration date (SLED) calculated on the basis of the date of manufacture and total shelf life can be rounded to the first or last date of the selected period.
Examples
Total shelf life in material master = 3
Period indicator in material master = M (month)
Date of manufacture entered at GR = 10.01.98
=> SLED = 10.01.98 + 3 months = 10.04.98
Rounding indic. = ' ' => MHD = 10.04.98 (no rounding)
Rounding indic. = '-' => MHD = 01.04.98 (first day of the month)
Rounding indic. = '+' => MHD = 30.04.98 (last day of the month)
Note: A SLED that is entered manually rather than calculated by the
system is not rounded.
