Definition
Defines how the absence is divided into subperiods. The absence payment differs from subperiod to subperiod and is defined by the corresponding wage type.
Example
In case of advance for sickness payment, the splitting rule applied by law is:
- From Day 0 to Day 3 = 0% from the basis amount
- From Day 3 to Day 365 = 65% from the basis amount
