The employee qualification level use is only valid from the start date determined in the customizing activity Activate training qualification level use. For records previous to the start date, the employee training qualification level is not applicable.
You can establish the correspondence between the qualification level and the education level of the employee in the customizing activity Keep education level. The levels and qualifications are defined by the Portuguese government and are described below:
Level Qualifications
1 2nd cycle of basic education
2 3rd cycle of basic education obtained
in basic education or via double
certification paths
3 Secondary education with a view to
pursuing higher level studies
4 Secondary education obtained via double
certification paths or secondary
education with a view to pursuing
higher level studies plus on-the-job
training - minimum six months
5 Post-secondary non-higher level
qualification with credits to
pursue higher level studies
6 Licenciatura degree
7 Master degree
8 Doctoral degree
