Definition
Indicates the total number of dependents for tax calculation purposes.
The value of this field takes into account if a dependent is handicapped or not. Each handicapped dependent with disability degree greater than 60% counts as two.
Use
This field is relevant for employees with income category A and is used to determine the Tax table column which contains the tax rates applicable to the employee's gross income.
Procedure
Examples
If an employee has a handicapped spouse with disability degree greater than 60% and one child, the total number of dependents of this employee, for tax calculation purposes, is three.
