Definition
Indicates which method is used for estimating the employee's annual vacation allowance. The possible values are:
- A - Annual estimation corrected over all leave days
- P - Annual estimation corrected only for leave days not yet taken
- N - Annual estimation not to be corrected towards annual allowance amounts already paid.
Example
- A - Annual estimation corrected over all leave days
The company pays the vacation allowance on a fixed date (April). Employee A has a salary of 1000 EUR. He takes half of his holidays (11 days) in March. In April he receives the total amount of his vacation allowance. In May he got a salary increase of 500 EUR, thus earning a total of 1500 EUR and in September he takes the rest of his vacation. Since it is the company's policy to adjust any amount already paid as vacation allowance, he gets an adjustment of 500 EUR equivalent to 22/22 of the increase, in the same month when the salary increase was paid.
In total, the employee received 1500 EUR as vacation allowance.
- P - Annual estimation corrected only for leave days not yet taken
The company pays the vacation allowance on a fixed date (April). Employee A has a salary of 1000 EUR. He takes half of his holidays (11 days) in March. In April he receives the total amount of his vacation allowance. In May he got a salary increase of 100.000 PTE, thus earning a total of 1500 EUR, and in September he takes the rest of his vacation. Since it is the company's policy to partially adjust any amount already paid, he receives an adjustment of 250 EUR (11/22 of the increase) in the same month when the salary increase was paid.
In total, the employee received 1250 EUR as vacation allowance.
- N - Annual estimation not to be corrected towards annual
The company pays the vacation allowance on a fixed date (April). Employee A has a salary of 1000 EUR. He takes half of his holidays (11 days) in March. In April he receives the total amount of his vacation allowance. In May he got a salary increase of 500 EUR, thus earning a total of 1500 EUR and in September he takes the rest of his vacation. Since it is the company's policy not to adjust paid vacation allowance, no additional payment is made.
In total, the employee received 1000 EUR as vacation allowance.
