Definition

Defines how the absences are divided for splitting purposes (See Splitting rule).

Note

There are two criteria to define the counting rule:

• Reset (See Number of days for resetting)
• Other absence types (See Counting type)

Example

A scheme can be created where the absence counter is reset to zero when the employee returns to work for at least 2 days after a period of absence.
