Definition

Flat percentage used for calculating annual leave accrual payment for terminated employee(s).

Use

The percentage is calculated on the contents of the Gross $ for year to date wage type (/C07) with the corresponding internal number.

Assuming that there are 52 weeks in the calendar year, the New Zealand rules for calculating accrual payout are :

• 6%, if employee's base entitlement is 3 weeks (112.5 hours) per year
• 8%, if employee's base entitlement is 4 weeks (150 hours) per year
• 10%, if employee's base entitlement is 5 weeks (187.5 hours) per year
