Definition
Date the employee joined the superannuation fund. This may be the same as the 'From date' of the infotype.
Note
In case of Kiwisaver fund, this date indicates the date on which an employee becomes eligible for Kiwisaver. This is typically the Hire Date. However, it can be different in certain instances, for example, if an employee initially joins the organization as a Casual Employee and then signs a permanent contract. In this case, the date in this field must indicate the Start Date of the permanent employment.
For existing employees, this date indicates the date on which they choose to join Kiwisaver.
The system displays this date on the Kiwisaver Employee Details report. If the employee chooses out of Kiwisaver, the system validates the Opt Out Date against this date.
