Definition
Gross earnings for an absence quota type that the employee was paid during the year the leave was accruing or granted.
Use
The gross earnings are accumulated in the system automatically. However, you can adjust the current year earnings in the Additional Payments infotype (0015) by entering the adjustment value against the gross earnings adjustment wage type you set up in Customizing for Payroll New Zealand under Absence Payments -> Define Absence Payment Rules (view T7NZLC).
The adjusted gross earnings in infotype 0015 are then added to the accumulated system value.
Example
If the gross earnings accumulated by the system amount to 25,000 and the adjustment value in infotype 0015 is 250, the result of the gross value is 25,250.
If you enter a negative adjustment value in infotype 0015, for example 120-, the gross amount is reduced by this value (25,000 - 120 = 24,880).
This field can also be modified by Leave History Adj. infotype (P0312) via leave view. This modification is only for the history gross adjustment. It will put the original record status in cluster LVAWE to 'H'istory and create a new record with the adjusted gross amount. For example, the gross for absence quota type 60 is 45,500 in 1995. The modification value from P0312 is 40,500. The old record in cluster LVAWE with gross amount of 45,500 will remain, but the status is changed to 'H'. A new record with gross amount of 40,500 for absence quota type 60 is created in LVAWE with status 'C'urrent and action 'A'djustment.
