Use
You use the document type to differentiate between messages in the process of communicating with the Altinn portal. The possible values are follows:
- Submission: documents that you wish to send to Altinn or documents that you have already sent to Altinn
- Correspondence: documents that you have downloaded from the Altinn portal. Correspondence documents refer to an initial submission document that you sent to Altinn.
Dependencies
The submission document that you have initially sent to Altinn and the correspondence document that you receive from them as a response are connected by way of the archive reference ID. For more information, see archive reference ID.
